Santino ist ein Zirkuskind. Sein Urgroßvater ist einer der letzten großen Zirkusdirektoren Deutschlands und erzählt ihm die Geschichten seiner Vorfahren: Von der Freundschaft zu einem Elefanten, von Abschieden, Neuanfängen und seinen ersten Schritten als Clown in der Manege.
Zirkuskind erzählt von einer besonderen Familie, vom Aufwachsen mit Ponys und Kamelen und gibt Einblick in eine Welt, in der die Menschen mit viel Liebe das Zirkuszelt zum Leuchten bringen.

Santino is a circus kid. His great-grandfather is one of Germany's last great circus directors and tells him stories about his ancestors: about his friendship with an elephant, about goodbyes, new beginnings, and his first steps as a clown in the ring. Circusboy tells the story of a special family, of growing up with ponies and camels, and provides insight into a world in which people bring the circus tent to life with great dedication and love.
